The COVID-19 pandemic has turned the world upside down. However, in India, it is not just the pandemic that is playing havoc.

On, June 15, 2020, the Indian government banned a total of 59 apps in the country including big-giant apps like TikTok, ShareIT, UC Browser, and many more leaving a number of users traumatized and sad as they will no longer be able to use their favorite apps again.

And now, we are getting the news of 47 more Chinese apps banned in India that were a clone of these earlier banned 59 applications. While a few people are sad because of the decision, others are happy and in support of the “Vocal for Local” policy by the Narender Modi-led government in India.
