As per the latest updates, Google has finally claimed its acquisition in the popular mobile learning app – Socratic. This announcement was mentioned in the message where they announced the relaunch of the app on iOS. This disclosure came into light when Google stated that they purchased the app last year in March on Linkedin.
Socratic stepped in the market in 2013 farming the creators Chris Pedregal & Shreyans Bhansali. It was in 2015 when the application raised $6 million funding when it hit the mark of 500,000 students. It was then when the company decided to change the module of the app from a simple QnA platform to more utility-based functionality.
